Payment Options
So you’ve gotten an estimate for surgery or a procedure your pet needs and now you’re thinking ‘How on earth am I going to pay for this?’ We know vet bills can be daunting and often large bills come with unexpected news which can make things even worse.
We have a number of different payment options, including ‘Treat Now, Pay Later’ options that can be tailored to suit your needs, depending on which option you choose to go with.
Before booking in your appointment with us, it is important to have a payment method organised with the clinic as payment is required upon discharge of all patients.
So What Are The Options?
Cash & Eftpos Facilities – We have both cash, Eftpos and credit card facilities available at the clinic. (Please note we do not accept American express)
Direct Deposit or Bank Transfer – This is an option for you that needs verification with proof of monies transferred BEFORE or at the time of discharge. Please ask our staff for our banking details if this option suits you.
Treat Now, Pay Later Options
We do not offer in-house payment plans, however we are partnered with 4 ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ services that can help with those larger expenses:
VetPay – This is a payment plan option designed for the veterinary industry. With VetPay you will enter a fortnightly payment contract, where VetPay pays us upfront and you pay them back over a period of time. If you already have an existing VetPay account, simply ensure you have enough credit to cover the expenses outlined in your estimate and let our reception team know you will be using VetPay as your preferred payment method. For fees, interest rates and or to apply head to www.vetpay.com.au . (Please note – All initial payments with VetPay require a 10% deposit to be paid directly to the clinic upon discharge.)
AfterPay - A familiar buy now, pay later option that can be used in clinic. If you already have an existing AfterPay account, simply present your digital card on your phone to tap and pay, just like you would at the shops. Remember to check you have enough available credit before you arrive to collect your pet. To apply for a new AfterPay account, head to www.afterpay.com.au/en-AU .
Zip Pay & Zip Money - Zip Pay allows you to apply for up to $1000 credit, while Zip Money gives the option to apply for up to $6000 for those large bills. If you already have an existing Zip Pay account, simply present your digital card on your phone to tap and pay, just like you would at the shops. Remember to check you have enough available credit before you arrive to collect your pet. To apply for a new Zip Pay or Zip Money account, head over to www.zip.co/au/zippay .
Humm – Humm is a flexible payment plan option that does not perform a credit check on you as the individual. Instead, it assesses the industry that you are applying for the credit in and takes into account how you earn your money to perform an assessment. We start the application process here in clinic with you, even if you have an existing Humm account. Please organise a time to come in to apply if you would like to use Humm as your preferred payment method. For more information about how Humm works, head over to www.shophumm.com/au .
